Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the film "Birdman. As a versatile actor, he has the ability to play comedy and dramatic roles. He's also played some romantic characters as well as was in a variety of action-packed films during his professional career. As a teen, he became interested in performing and acting. As a young adult He experimented with stand-up comics. This was not a very successful stand-up career, however it did pave the way for a career in acting. When he failed to become a popular comedian and adolescent, he started working for the satellite station as a television crew member. He realized his real passion was in front the camera when he was working there. When he was offered a part on television, he appeared in numerous shows in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was an naturally talented actor, and quickly became a household name in the world of television. His comedic characters brought him fame and he commenced an acting career with big dreams. The actor gained further recognition when he portrayed the eponymous Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. Being a mature actor he also began to venture into directing and producing. He won numerous nominations and awards for his performance in the film Birdman.
